I have been with Torsten for many many years both at Pura Vida and at a former practice. He is the best dentist, so customer focused, polite and very caring of not only my teeth but in general. Without his expert dental treatment, I would have lost many teeth and had dentures by now, but thankfully Torsten has allowed me to keep my own teeth.

I'm very nervous about going to the dentist, but all the staff made me feel so comfortable and right at ease. Everything is explained so clearly I felt genuinely taken care for. Highly recommend going here, especially if you've been putting it off like I was!

I have been seeing Torsten Moehl for many years. His calming and reassuring manor immediately puts you at ease. Nothing is too much trouble. It’s always a pleasure to see him and his staff.

All proceeded ok but next morning l had experienced heavy bleeding from between the back
Upper molars on the right hand side.A pea sized blood blister appeared outside the teeth ,
Stopped the bleeding and when it went down on Thursday lunch time bleeding has stopped.
Just a blob left between the outside of the teeth .Hopefully all now clear!u

As pleasant as a visit to the dentist can be. Kim and Torsten and their team are accommodating, kind and make one feel as relaxed as one who neither likes needles nor dentistry can be. I guess you call that 'professional'.

Treatment by a number of dentist’s throughout my long life have always without exception been an experience of nervous anxiety.
But hey, I find myself actually quietly enjoying …did I say that!…..
the operations quietly but expertly carried out by Dr.Moehl.
The sophisticated modern equipment including the filming of detail within the mouth is a part of what I have found fascinating and I now find myself looking forward to being invited for follow-up treatment as is necessary
I have no hesitation in welcoming this dental practice to the village of Naphill and beyond and consider that we are very lucky indeed.

Torsten has looked after my teeth for years, and has always been so kind and gentle, as well as professional. I was terrified of dentists my whole life, but as soon as I met Torsten he put me at ease and I would never go to another dentist - therefore he can never retire! We even have a good chat and laugh before check ups and treatment and he always tells me what he's doing and gives lots of information about teeth care. Kim is a welcoming presence too, so definitely 5 stars for Pura Vida

My wife and I have been patients of Dr Moehl for 26 years. Even though we moved 130 miles away about 8 years ago we still travel back to see him.
The treatment is always professional, kind and patient. We always feel very confident that we can trust his recommendations for treatment.
His enthusiasm for up to date dental treatment and technology is reflected in his practice. The "cutting edge" equipment and his patient manner greatly contribute to a more pleasant experience for his patient.
Kim the receptionist is always welcoming and helpful.

Pura Vida is an excellent dental practice. I have seen Dr Torsten Moehl for many years and would not consider using any other dental practice. He is very competent and professional, with a gentle approach, as well as being kind, compassionate and friendly. The receptionist and dental nurses are also friendly and welcoming. The practice is clean and bright, and parking is available. I would highly recommend Pura Vida.

Torsten and the team achieved exactly what I needed, in terms of my dental treatment and, more importantly, did this while being fully understanding of and sensitive to my other major medical challenges. The whole experience was very professional and caring.

I have to agree with many of the other reviewers, Torsten is really patient and gentle and never seems to be rushed giving you all the time you need including breaks for you to swallow and reset. I can fully recommend this excellent dental practice.

Great service! The receptionist was very frirndly and chatty.The dentist was charming and did a very thorough examination without causing me pain. The hygeinist was very friendly did a great job cleaning my teeth whilst offering some interrsting tips for cleaning teeth and preserving enamel.

A trip to the dentist is never really something you look forward to but at Pura Vida as a new patient with a broken tooth it was a warm welcome from all the team. Everything is very new, and the actually dentistry amazing. I have been private for over 25 years and didn't realise work could be done so gently and efficiently without injections. Excellent work highly recommend seeing the team if you need any work.
